My name is Mary Leis. After more than 35 years in the travel industry, my creative journey led me toward art—where precision and spontaneity meet.

I create art laser projects that blend thoughtful design with craftsmanship, transforming wood and mixed materials into layered, meaningful pieces. Alongside the laser, watercolor painting is a constant source of inspiration for me. I love the contrast between the laser’s clean lines and the fluid, organic nature of watercolor—soft washes, unexpected blends, and moments where the paint takes the lead.

Whether I’m cutting, engraving, painting, or combining all three, my work is about transformation—giving materials a second life and letting light, color, and texture tell a story.
